Caton Flats transforms the cultural institution, Flatbush-Caton Caribbean Market, into the new “go-to”state of the art Caribbean Market of New York City. The facility will provide ample space for local vendors and small businesses to thrive, while also contributing to local economic development through community spaces and a commercial kitchen which will provide additional training and support to entrepreneurs and vendors alike. Caton Flats 297,189 ground square feet will encompass 16,000 square feet of commercial space, 10,000 square feet of retail and residential amenity spaces, 75 parking spaces and 255 affordable housing units.
